Superyacht systems design, build, commissioning

Superyacht equipment design, build & installation

holder

Superyacht hydraulic engineering
has clear requirements above other
marine hydraulics applications.

Superyachts have requirements over and above other vessels. Armada's engineers are experienced in designing, building and commissioning hydraulic systems that perfectly fit each individual superyacht requirement.

Superyacht and megayacht systems must be innovative and effective and entirely suited to the client's needs and aspirations. Sleek design ring mains, efficient, leak-free functionality, noise and vibration minimisation, use of the highest quality control valves and high-grade stainless fittings are important features of our designs. Our ISO 9001accredited design office provides proven hydraulic system design and our project management team tailors installations to the needs and standards of individual clients within the luxury yacht sector.

Working around the world on superyachts, our hydraulic engineers are well-equipped to handle the rigours of meeting schedules in busy multi-trade environments. Our commercial teams feed-back status updates on budgets while our on-site technical engineer advises on hydraulic issues.

Our bespoke equipment is manufactured in-house at Armada Marine Hydraulics' purpose built factory in Falmouth, UK. Our site team ensures installation is quick and trouble-free whether it's complex electro-hydraulics with a programmable logic controller (PLC) system linking to the bridge or hydraulically powered bow thruster covers.

We offer innovative design solutions for newbuilds and existing yachts from deck installations and powerpacks to powered skin doors, passerelles, cylinders with multiple sensors, movable masts, steering gear, winching, craning and PLC solutions. Our installations are to specification and a joy to behold.

Superyacht systems installations with Walform Plus

A world-leader in practical hydraulics applications, including use of the Eaton Walterscheid Walform Plus process, we have shown the benefits of Walform Plus in superyachts where we highly recommend it in the installation of high quality stainless steel pipework. Walform Plus is our method of choice because of it’s reliability, leak-free joins and flexibility that make it invaluable to continuous system integrity even in inaccessible areas of superyachts and harsh salt-water or temperature environments.

Global superyacht services

Our team is regularly mobilised around the world to ensure superyachts get the service required when they require it and that the work fits perfectly with that particular vessel. While on site our experienced project engineers work seamlessly with ship management and other trades to ensure installations are time-managed and to budget. We are fully mobile and can set up an installation cell including Walform Plus machinery and tube bending with flushing rigs to pressure test and flush pipework.
