Armada Marine Hydraulics continues expansion

Armada Marine Hydraulics continues to develop with sales growth and a continued investment in the business including four new additions to the team

Despite the doom and gloom in large sections of the shipping industry, the Falmouth-based marine hydraulics specialist continues to see sales growth and has recruited four new members of staff to improve levels of engineering design, technical sales support and engineering capacity.

Senior design engineer Rob Ashburn has worked alongside Armada as a freelance designer and project engineer ever since the company was founded 20 years ago and now joins full time to strengthen the engineering management and design capability of this innovative company.

Paul Marshall and Trevor Rigden join as commercial sales specialists, assisting customers in refining their requirements and making sure they get the right parts for the job. They are also charged with strengthening Armada’s relationship with their customers.

Adam Doney takes over responsibility for managing the company’s busy trade counter and same day hose making service. He has also been involved with Armada in the past and brings with him a strong track record in business management and technical hydraulic sales.

Martin Doney, managing director of Armada, commented: “It has taken a while to find the right people, but I am confident we now have the right team to give the very highest standards of personal service on technical and sales enquiries. Of course it is a pleasure to be expanding, especially at the moment, but the most important thing is that this is in order to meet growing demand and improve levels of service. Now we just need some more engineers.”
