Armada have just completed the installation of the new D-Class Lifeboat launching system at Fenit in Ireland. This RNLI launching system is housed within RNLI Fenit's new floating boathouse. The Armada designed system is similar to the Atlantic 85 system designed,installed and commissioned by Armada at Burnham & Brighton RNLI stations earlier in 2011. The launching mechanism is designed to deploy a D-Class Lifeboat in all conditions with a full complement of crew and incorporates a fail-safe system to allow a launch, should the power fail within the facility.
