RNLI Burnham & Brighton contracts completed by Armada

Armada has recently completed 2 more projects for the RNLI Shore Works Dept.

Armada Marine Hydraulics based in Falmouth, have recently completed 2 more projects for the RNLI Shore Works Dept. The 2 stations to benefit from the new floating boathouse design are Burnham-on-Crouch and Brighton.

Armada were commissioned to design, manufacture and install the launching system for the Atlantic 85 lifeboats which will be housed in the new facilities. The operational criteria set by the RNLI was very high to guarantee a fast, fail-safe launch system to suit all conditions.

The Armada design team encompassed all the specifics requested and after a week of installation on each system, both were commissioned and accepted within the project deadline.

This was another successful project completed for the RNLI by Armada after previous design & installation contracts at Sennen Cove, Port Erin & Poole.

Armada are due to install a D-Class Lifeboat launching system at Fenit in Ireland during June this year which will be housed within the stations new boathouse.
