In recent years Armada Marine Hydraulics
have been involved with the major ship yards and marine
defence companies that undertake servicing and maintenance
of the countries Royal Fleet Auxiliary Vessels and
Naval Vessels.
Our experienced engineers have been employed to undertake
varied projects including installations, re-engineering,
and on site fault finding. However, with Armada Marine
Hydraulic’s numerous years experience of working
with commercial marine, the company is conversant
with the inherent problem of ship repair – namely
time constraints. It is not uncommon for small projects
to escalate, but unfortunately the dealines of the
ship returning to active service will still apply.
The ability to solve problems quickly in a short windows
of opportunity, and with the full confidence of the
customer have therefore been a prominent key to Armada’s
growth. Our engineers are used to both undertaking
project management on behalf of the client and working
with other trades to successfully complete orders.
Armada is ISO 2001 accredited and all hydraulic hoses
are manufactured and tested on site to BFPDA standards;
and if required in accordance with military specifications.
Projects we have been involved with include contracts
upon various hydraulic systems and hydraulic equipment;
hydraulic lifts; ram repair and re-sealing; small
and large bore pipe work; hose replacement, marking
and registers; pneumatics; HP air pipe work; stainless
steel fresh water supply; sewerage systems; fire fighting
installations; test; calibration of gauges and valves;
flushing and many other minor projects.
