Marine hydraulic engineering services
Reliable hydraulic systems are vital
to the continual uptime of marine
Vital to the smooth and cost-effective running of a commercial vessel, its hydraulic systems need to run effectively, reliably and to capacity.
Following a survey, our specialist engineers work with our customers to achieve appropriate and robust engineering solutions that are cost effective and safe. We work on planned retrofits and complex hydraulic circuits upgrading them or replacing old and inefficient systems.
Our engineers are expert in the installation and maintenance of all types of hydraulic systems, high-pressure (HP) air systems and fuel lines on a vast range of commercial vessels. From oceanographic survey ships, tugs and harbour support vessels to tankers and container ships. Armada enjoys a good working relationship with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and has assisted with hydraulics installations and maintenance on Royal Fleet Auxilliary (RFA) vessels.
Armada can help with cranes, winches, davits, we can work on high pressure systems and other pneumatics. Our international support team is poised for mobilisation to shipping destinations around the world for times when assured experts are required quickly on site. All engineers are highly trained and some are able to be deployed by helicopter.
We engage in any hydraulics-related work on commercial vessels including systems fault-finding, consultancy, project management, electronic hydraulic interface design and full commissioning and testing of new and existing equipment.
