Following on from a couple of small jobs, Armada have become the preferred hydraulic specialists of GC Rieber / GCC. We have worked on most CGG vessels, notably the (now renamed) Search, Amadeus and Laurentian.
Full hydraulic system reviews have been carried out periodically on these vessels and remedial work and upgrades of various parts of their systems undertaken to maintain full operability.
Hose registers have been created and kept up to date. Spares kits have been specified, assembled and supplied.
Training in situ has also been given to crewmembers involved with the day to day running of control systems.
Being survey vessels, their systems are more complex than that of a typical ship; much of our work has focused on the control systems for the seismic array handling gear, such as streamer winches and gun winches etc.
